CELEBRATING 20: BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A COMMUNITY
THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION RETREAT FOR THE ARROWMONT ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM
MAY 13-17, 2012
In 1991-92, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts initiated the Artists-in-Residence Program.
Since then, 91 early career artists have lived and created within a supportive community on the Arrowmont campus.
The May 13-17 Reunion Retreat celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Program with opportunities to re-connect and engage with other resident artists through collaborative studio work, meaningful conversations, topical discussions and social gatherings. Outcomes from the Reunion-Retreat include personal and professional connections, technical experimentation, new discovery and inspiration. Arrowmont will provide housing, meals, basic studio supplies and social activities. The Arrowmont studios will be available to all participants. Participating resident artists are responsible for their personal transportation and any specific studio materials.
It was great to meet you all and to see old friends.
