Anna Keck - Introduction

Hi, Everybody!  I was a resident from 1994-95.  I'm looking forward to attending this creative retreat and meeting you all.  A little about me....I'm working full time as a Studio Technician in the Fibers Dept. at SCAD in Savannah, GA.  I've also recently purchased a (major) house renovation project, so between the two commitments, I admit...I'm not in the studio as much as I would like to be!  (I do find time to satisfy my creative itch every once in a while...just not as often as I would like!)

You can learn more about me and my work at my BLOG (annakeck.wordpress.com).  My latest post is about this retreat and the beginning stages of researching for my print edition that I'm planning to work on.  I'm really inspired by the history of Arrowmont, and it is from this platform for which I plan to jump from conceptually.  It is my goal to post on my blog as ideas arise while doing my research in the next few weeks leading up to our retreat.  Since my process of working is so time consuming, I'm planning to get an early start with stitching my "printing plates", and I will be sharing my progress on my blog.
